Earlier, he was sitting on the floor between my legs and tucked his nose under my chin. Now, he’s all snuggled up with me on the love seat.
He’s good company.
From the hike today:
I only took my water and shock resistant camera so these pics aren’t as nice as with my DSLR, but I think they capture the green lushness anyway.

Silas is nibbling my nose and my employer has no need for me so I will be off on a hike with Si for the next few hours or so.
I will walk a loop along the mushroom trail, power line and back along the Nisga’a highway.

I am watching battle of the blades and I have to say; it’s compelling. The players who are learning to figure skate all show their vulnerable sides and seem very charismatic for it. It doesn’t hurt that there’s a lady hockey player there Her name is Tessa Bonhomme and she’s a hottie.
What is most compelling, however is the footage of Wade Belak. He seemed like a soft spoken, fun loving guy, a father and husband as well as an athlete.
His passing was too early

Si and I went for a bit of a drive down a tight little trail called the mushroom trail.
I let him roam while I took photos of fungi. It was a nice time
I could be wrong but I think the mushroom trail is for hiking on not driving on.
But you *know* I like it tight baby…
