Si is being a cuddle monkey.
Earlier, he was sitting on the floor between my legs and tucked his nose under my chin. Now, he’s all snuggled up with me on the love seat.
He’s good company.
From the hike today:
I only took my water and shock resistant camera so these pics aren’t as nice as with my DSLR, but I think they capture the green lushness anyway.

Si and I went for a bit of a drive down a tight little trail called the mushroom trail.
I let him roam while I took photos of fungi. It was a nice time
I could be wrong but I think the mushroom trail is for hiking on not driving on.

My boy Si.
He doesn’t travel very well. I’m not sure what going places in a vehicle does to his head, but he usually will stand with his head between the two front seats panting and drooling the whole time, however long the trip is. This Great Dane can drool a lot.
The result of all this stress is usually exhaustion when we are done traveling. We are back up north and today, he snores on the couch. I’m sure he will be back to his playful, uncoordinated self tomorrow.
